Our history

1st Call Car Parts was founded in 2004 by our director Martin and partner Mandy to serve the motor factors and parts suppliers of Great Yarmouth. Now run by the second generation of the family, Mandy´s son Robert. We believe 1st Call is a trusted vehicle parts suppliers in the area and our reviews tell the same story.

Independent advice and service

Professionals and the public have come to 1st Call for advice and service since 2004, preferring our independent family-run business to those impersonal online car parts warehouses. Our friendly and knowledgeable experts will always help you find the right part, from a clutch kit to a spanner set. As our awards show the needs of independent garages and local motorists still drive our business today as they have done for over 20 years.

2004 -1st Call Car Parts Launches

Partners Martin and Mandy launch 1st Call after working together in the sales team at a motor factor.

2011/2012 - Rebrand & Move

1st Call had some set backs to overcome in the early years. With some strategic changes in staffing and delivery area, we came out the other side and 2011 was time for a rebrand with a fresh logo, new vans and eventually a move in 2012 to our current location.

2013 - Small Factor Of The Year Finalist

Our dedication and hardwork didn’t go unnoticed and we were nominated in the Small Factor Of The Year category at the CAT Awards. We were announced as finalists and attended Twickenham stadium for an awards ceremony.

2017 - Joined UAN

2017 was another turning point for the business when we joined the United Aftermarket Network, giving us access to the best brands in the industry and further strengthening our ability to supply our customers with the products they need.

2023 - UAN Member Of The Year

We won our first award in 2023 as UAN Member of the Year. Our commitment to offering high rates of customer service recognised and we were thrilled to collect the award at the UAN Spring conference in Villamoura, Algarve in April 2024.
